At the heart of this program is our fantastic coordinator, Ami Hoyos. With her passion for volunteerism and community involvement, she has played a vital role in organizing projects for the Approved Networks team to participate in. Her dedication and leadership have been crucial in keeping Legrand's Better Communities Program at the forefront of our hearts and minds!

Earth Day Beach Clean Up

April 22-23 2024 | Huntington Beach, California

Legrand’s Data, Power, and Control team and Approved Networks team joined together for a Better Communities Event at Huntington State Beach. The goal was to beautify the beach and highlight the importance of beach cleanups. These events are important because they improve the appearance of our beaches, but also make them safer for both marine animals and beachgoers. Beach cleanups are a fun way to give back to our community, promote teamwork, and create a positive impact on the environment.

The Teen Project

The Better Communities Team at Approved Networks, a brand of Legrand, had the honor of visiting Lauri Burns, founder and CEO of The Teen Project, to deliver supplies, treats, and a generous donation at Vera’s Sanctuary. Legrand founded the Better Communities program in 2014 to enhance employee and community welfare through programs that help people enjoy healthier, more productive, and more rewarding lives. The program is centered on three focal areas that underscore Legrand’s core competencies as a company.

American Red Cross Blood Drive

The Lake Forest team came together for an American Red Cross Blood Drive and it was a lot more fun than it sounds! Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood, so thanks to those who donated - you did good! We’re so grateful that Legrand’s Better Communities program supports employee volunteer and philanthropic efforts in the communities where we live and work.
